An “unforgettable success” was the verdict of car lovers, after this year’s spectacular Isle of Wight Takeover.

May’s lively celebration of the motor saw an amazing turnout of over 1,500 cars and more than 3,000 passionate individuals, who travelled from near and far to be a part of the event.

The aim of Isle of Wight Takeover is to bring together car enthusiasts from all walks of life – and it certainly achieved that, with the colourful variety of vehicles on view as proof of their creativity and skill.

As well as showcasing their auto handiwork, participants were also able to enjoy some of the Island’s best-located driving roads in the UK, with picture-perfect settings for their photographs. And to top off the celebrations there was a big party with live music.

Organisers, who are already looking forward to the 2024 event, expressed their gratitude to the numerous sponsors, traders, and volunteers who helped make this year’s gathering such a resounding success.
