The vehicle wizards at JW Autoshine have gained an Island-wide reputation for transforming cars from scruffy back to stunning showroom condition – and customer demand is now so high that the operation has recently expanded into a second site.

The specialist business – launched by Jason Wadsworth 20 years ago as a one-man mobile valeting operation – moved to its main premises in Rookley in 2017. From there, it began offering additional high quality services such as ceramic coatings and body protection films, and the business quickly grew.

Now it’s expanded again, with a second site in Cowes that will ensure regular maintenance customers as well as unplanned, emergency-type bookings can always get the service they need.

The busy dual-site operation now boasts nine staff, including two new apprentices.  Business founder Jason continues to use his specialist skills at the front end of the  business, while Julian Tomlinson handles general management and ensures the smooth functioning of the busy work schedule.

The business has  loyal following of both private and business clients, who frequently post  glowing reviews on social media after seeing their vehicle almost magically transformed.

Services include everything from a thorough interior valet to wax treatments, restoring a car to factory fresh for re-sale, or applying specialist protection film to the bodywork.

Annoying stone chips or minor scrapes sustained in the supermarket car park can be tackled with advanced sprayless techniques, using high quality products that won’t damage the vehicle, and even dull headlights can be restored to their former glory to ensure an MoT pass.
