Crowds turned out in force in July for the ever-popular County Show, enjoying favourite features such as the vintage tractors display and exciting big bale challenge along with equestrian events and the fun dog show.

This year, though, there were some new attractions on the programme, including a crazy sheep show featuring a talented flock of ‘dancers’, a Shetland Pony “Grand National” and a reading tent for children, in support of the High Sheriff’s child literacy initiative.

After the event, organisers at the Royal Isle of Wight Agricultural Society offered a huge ‘thank you’ to all sponsors, traders, volunteers, committee and the public for their support, and also announced the dates of next year’s show:
July 13-14 2024.
