Since it opened in Shanklin two years ago, The Lime Tree Café has steadily been attracting a regular following of customers – and getting plenty of positive reviews on both Trip Advisor and Google. Customers enjoy the spacious but homely atmosphere that provides WiFi and has become a friendly meeting place for regulars – along with some of their four-legged friends. Last year, owners Lisa and Liz and a group of their regulars tackled the 8 mile Walk the Wight, and raised over £1,000. They also ran their first craft workshop on paper cutting and are exploring other craft workshops for later this year.

Lisa and Liz are always coming up with new menu choices, with the current favourite being the Smashed Avocado and IW tomatoes on toasted sourdough bread, along with the Chocolate Fudge cake, both are suitable for vegans but appeal to everyone. Lisa is also always looking for different gluten free cakes – such as their popular poppy seed cake.

During 2019 The Lime Tree catered for a number of successful small group celebrations. If you are interested in holding a birthday party or other festivity just call and discuss your requirements.
