Breakfast and supper clubs for all ages and flexible boarding from the age of 10 are just a few of the options offered by Ryde School to help busy families.

School buses transport pupils from many areas of the Island, while a Hover Nanny service ensures younger pupils are accompanied safely from the mainland, and Summer School offers activities during the mid-year holidays.

Educating pupils since 1921, Ryde School is a co-ed independent day and boarding school for pupils aged from two-and-a-half years right up to 18. Set in over 17 acres of grounds overlooking the Solent, Ryde makes full use of the Island for a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

As a Round Square and IB World School, it offers excellent academic teaching with sailing built into the curriculum, while main sports such as netball, cricket, rugby and hockey, are played regularly against Island and mainland schools.

Within the school grounds, Ryde offers boarding in two new award-winning houses: Millfield, a beautifully renovated Victorian villa for the younger boarders, and Centenary House, a purpose-built house with stunning sea views, designed to prepare older students for independent living.
