There could hardly be a more appropriately named shop at this time of year than Tis the Season in St Johns Road, Sandown.
Shena Crawford is the owner of Tis the Season since October last year, and as well as stocking a huge variety of fruit and veg all year round, as Christmas approaches she will be adding some festive specials. They will include decorations, nuts, dates and other Christmas treats, along with holly, mistletoe and real Christmas trees.
Shena now has her Christmas order form available, so customers can call into Tis the Season, pick up a form, decide what they want for Christmas, and then return it to the shop by December 14. Then, without any hassle of last-minute decisions, they can pop back into the shop on Christmas Eve, safe in the knowledge their fresh fruit and veg will be there awaiting collection.
Shena stocks a wide variety of fruit and veg, saying: “I try to keep all the traditional types that I know most people like, and I look forward to seeing established and new customers, and would like to wish them all a Merry Chritmas.”
