If you are in the last year of school and searching for your next adventure, then UKSA’s fully-funded Further Education courses are a great alternative to school or college.
These courses have been designed specifically for students who want to embark on exciting and rewarding careers in watersports instruction or yacht training.
Choose from the NCFE Level 3 Full Diploma in Outdoor & Adventurous Activities, or alternatively, the NCFE Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Maritime Foundation. Both of these programmes are run over two years at UKSA’s waterfront base in Cowes.
The Outdoor & Adventurous Activities programme is aimed at those wishing to gain employment within the vast sectors of sport and outdoor industries – although this course also acts as a great springboard to enter into higher education at Degree level, through accumulated UCAS points.
Alternatively, the Maritime Foundation Course is ideal for those who have no prior experience in yachting or watersports. Training provides the essential skills, qualifications and practical knowledge required to start a career within the Maritime Industry.
