The Island’s horse community pulled together once again to create another huge fundraising success at Lake Farm Equestrian Centre.

Owners of the centre, the Holmes family paid tribute to the efforts of Debi Morse, who put hours of time and effort into organising and running the charity horse show.

After it was mentioned in conversation last year that Lake Farm wanted to raise funds for an on-site defibrillator, Debi immediately took up the challenge and leapt into action, volunteering herself to organise a showing show to help fundraise.

In fact, the fun and friendly show was such an all-round success that it raised the full amount needed for this life-saving piece of equipment to be installed at the farm.

The Holmes family thanked not only the tireless organiser Debi, but also all the judges, sponsors, stewards, helpers and competitors who made the day such a happy and worthwhile event. Photos by Keith Pollard
