After living and working in London for 18 years, Nicola Williams moved to the Isle of Wight and set up Mrs. Brown’s Second Home Services in 2007 specifically for second home owners on the Island.

The company offers a house keeping service that covers everything from cleaning and laundry to shopping, and even arranging maintenance on the property if required.

Nicola explained: “The service I provide means that when people want to stay at their second home they can come over and enjoy it without having to lift a finger, and know that when they return to the mainland everything will be ready and prepared for their next visit.”

Mrs. Brown’s Second Home Services is based in Binstead and covers the whole of the Island, with clients in Freshwater, Ventnor, Seaview and Ryde to name just a few locations. As Nicola points out: “The Island is not too big to get anywhere quite quickly, and of course with second homes it is not a case of turning things around in a morning for new guests to arrive.

“Attention to detail is most important. I have high standards and I will not compromise on those standards, and I like to think the service I offer is like the old fashioned way of doing things, with everything designed around the individual needs of the home owners.”
